Selena Gomez didn’t make it to the Met Gala last Monday, but she made it to Nice, France, for the Cannes Film Festival. The actress will be walking the red carpet tomorrow for The Dead Don’t Die premiere, which will open the festival. That will be a ball gown-worthy, red carpet occasion. But today, Gomez chose comfort. She was shot in the Nice airport wearing a sleeveless white jumpsuit with a oversized giant cream cardigan. She finished the look with tan sunglasses:

Gomez was last seen out at Disneyland last week. She went two days in a row with friends and shared photos from her first night there. During the Met Gala, Gomez was in the California park.
Gomez has purposely kept a pretty low profile on Instagram, seldom posting updates to her account. But in her first extended interview this year with Coach, Gomez gave insight into why she made that choice and why she sees too much Instagram as toxic.
“It is not that healthy to be on it all the time because I noticed with me, I got kind of depressed looking at these people who look beautiful and amazing, and it would just get me down a lot so I just think taking breaks is really important,” she started. “But just know that most of it isn’t real. And I hate to say that, I don’t mean to be rude, but it’s very unrealistic in a lot of ways, and I think that for me, I want to protect the youngest generation because they are exposed to so much information, and I feel like that causes a lot of anxiety at the youngest age. Like, I didn’t grow up with that. I had dial-up internet. I think that sometimes people are exposed to too much, and you should really protect what you’re seeing and be mindful, be really mindful of how it makes you feel.”
